Join one of our events and connect in community .... it's been a while!
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 25 – 7:45pm
As this pandemic drags on, we often find ourselves sounding like the Psalmist in Psalm 13 “How long Lord?” Join us for an encouraging night of prayer as we pray for our church, our city & the world.
SOUNDS GREAT, BUT WON’T A ZOOM PRAYER MEETING BE AWKWARD?
Well yes, it often is 🙂 To alleviate some of that, we will send out a list to all those joining us with a list of who is leading us in prayer, songs etc… so our time together flows nicely without awkward “should I pray next?” moments.
LEAD IN PRAYER
If you would like to lead a prayer, let us know. Please choose a scripture to read and use as your guide in prayer.
PRAY IN AGREEMENT
If you’d like to join the prayer night, but not lead in group prayer, by all means come and pray with us. Let us know you’re coming!
To lead a prayer, or join us and pray in agreement with those leading us, contact Paul at [email protected]
Until we can get back to the 223, we plan to host various outdoor hangouts, weather permitting as we want to be responsible while providing opportunities for our youth to connect. Public Heath guidelines are followed in regards to both group size & social distancing is continually encouraged.

Woodland Christian HighSchool
We are thankful that in the midst of these challenging times, we now have the opportunity to gather in a space large enough for our entire church community to gather at the Lord’s table!
On the Last Sunday of each month, we will gather at Woodland Christian high school to celebrate. These services replace our 10:30am Sunday services. (We will stream the Lord’s table service from Woodland for those unable to physically gather.)
Sunday October 25 @ 1:30pm
Sunday November 29 @ 1:30pm
Sunday December 27 @ 1:30pm
Romans 13 faithfully instructs us to submit to governing authorities inasmuch as they do not prohibit us from faithfully preaching the name of Christ.
The guidelines of Public Health, requiring masks & appropriately distancing our chairs for indoor services is for the benefit of the greater KW community and we will therefore abide by those guidelines for our services. The room capacity is approx. 500, enabling our entire Redeemer community to be present together in a responsible way as we are able to use 30% of the space available for worship.
While covid has been incredibly disruptive to our worship, it has not stopped our worship or mission. God’s call to His people which spans both testaments, whether in Babylon or Rome, calls us to gathering for worship & seek the good of our city. We endeavour to continue to do both.
We are cognizant that many of you have small children and a 1:00pm service is not likely ideal for naptimes! We encourage you to adjust schedules once a month if at all possible – we would love to see everyone for worship at these gatherings. (There is a parenting room next to the auditorium where the service will be livestreamed should you need a quick exit!)
The Lord’s Table Services, though short, will be deeply meaningful. The bread, the cup, the Word the Spirit – these are means of God’s grace, that is to say, things He intentionally and specifically gives to His people in corporate worship for our refreshing & renewal. We look forward to it!
May God give us grace to keep the unity in our church and stay on mission in our city.
