KW Redeemer operates on the commitment of our members who serve one other by using their time, energy, and gifts in our weekly worship gatherings. It’s our hope that everyone who calls KW Redeemer home would serve in at least one area of ministry each month. Below are descriptions of each of the areas that you can serve in, so fill out a form and let us know where you’d like to get involved.
The music ministry team are musicians and artists who are passionate about using their time and talents to lead the church in glorifying Jesus. If you’re a vocalist, instrumentalist, or choir singer, then we welcome you to get involved in this ministry.
In order to serve in the music ministry, you must be a member of Redeemer.
Our sound tech team are those who set up, run and tear down the sound equipment used in our services. If you enjoy music, would like to learn about sound mixing and are a technically minded person, this would be a great area of ministry for you!
Our ushers work behind the scenes to make sure that all our services run smoothly. They help set up & pack up the signage and church supplies at the end of each gathering.
Children’s ministry is an essential part of the life of KW Redeemer because so many families have made this community their home. If you have a gift for working with children, this will be a great area of ministry for you. We use Gospel Project curriculum so everything is provided for you. No need to prepare lessons – just come prepared to share them with kids in an engaging way!
In order to serve in the children’s ministry, you must be a member of Redeemer.
We have a great space for our youth to connect, deepen their friendships and make new ones. In addition to lots of laughs and great games, we take some time to gather around the gospel and encourage our young people in their faith.
Redeemer Youth @223 is every 2nd & 4th Friday from 7:00pm -9:30pm at 223 Hartwood Ave in Waterloo.

Our greeters are those who welcome you at the door each week, always ready and willing to help newcomers find their way around.
This team prepares the sacraments in the morning so the church can enjoy the Lord’s table together with the bread and cup.
As well, they prepare the coffee and refreshments for our time of fellowship after the service.
