Mike and Andrea have been part of the Redeemer family since 2021, when they moved to Kitchener-Waterloo with their four children.

Before coming to Redeemer, Mike served in campus ministry and as a pastor for twelve years. Mike has graduated from the University of Guelph (BA), Heritage Seminary (MDiv), and completed his PhD at Knox College, University of Toronto, writing a thesis on the ecclesiology of British theologian P. T. Forsyth. Mike serves the congregation at Redeemer as an ordained elder in the PCA. As our Director of Discipleship, he aims to help people grow in their faith through biblical teaching and spiritual formation, also giving oversight to our Community Groups. He loves coffee, music, and the outdoors.

Andrea is a Nurse Practitioner, working in palliative care in the community and also in addictions medicine. She serves at Redeemer in a number of ways, including Redeemer KiDS, on a Ray of Hope meal team, and hosting various gatherings in their home.
