Mike and Andrea have been part of the Redeemer family since 2021, when they moved to Waterloo with their four children. Andrea is a Nurse Practitioner, working in palliative care in the community and also in addictions medicine. She serves at Redeemer in a number of ways, including Redeemer KiDS, on a Ray of Hope meal team, and hosting various gatherings in their home.

Before coming to Redeemer, Mike served in campus ministry and as a pastor for twelve years. As our Director of Discipleship, he aims to help people grow in their faith through biblical teaching and spiritual formation, also giving oversight to our Community Groups. Mike is a graduate of the University of Guelph (BA), Heritage Seminary (MDiv), and is currently completing a PhD at the Toronto School of Theology. He loves coffee, music and the outdoors, and has been getting his 10,000 steps in long before our phones told us we had to.
