Acts 27-28 – The Unstoppable Gospel
THE STORM IS HISTORICAL, PHYSICAL, AND SPIRITUAL:
The book of Acts begins & ends with “mighty winds”. The spread of the gospel begins with God’s presence like a “mighty wind”. The threat to stop the spread of the gospel comes in a storm of mighty winds. United to Christ, storms should be expected – but not feared.
THE COURAGE TO REMAIN UNSHAKEABLE
The Apostle has a Word of promise before the storm, a confirming Word in the storm and finds courage by eating & communing with Christ in the chaos.
THE GOSPEL IS A WORD OF GRACE THAT IS UNSTOPPABLE
Acts 28:31 “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!”
