GOD’S JUDGEMENT ON THE SIN THAT DESTROYS
6:11 The earth and all people were שָׁחַת “I will destroy the destroyed” or
6:13 I will שָׁחַת “I will bring destruction on destruction”
GOD’S GRACE FOR ALL WHO WILL RECEIVE HIM
6:8-9 “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord … Noah was walked with God”
Being justified and declared righteous is what God’s grace gives.
Being sanctified and empowered to walk in righteousness is what God’s grace does.
GOD’S INTENTION TO REDEEM ALL THINGS
9:12-13 “The sign of the covenant I make between Me, you, & every living creature, for generations: 13 I set My bow in the cloud, a sign of the covenant between Me & the earth.”
